Let it snow!

Colorado had it's first snow storm of the season, or rather Parker did. Dillon was quite excited to see the snow. It was fun to watch his excitement. I didn't want to go out in it but I had to work. I took a few pics of the snow, it was so pretty!

Kids say the darnest things

We were over at a friends house yesterday and Dillon and Amber had this conversation

Dillon: I have a Big mouth.
Amber: A big Mouth?
Dillon: Yea a big mouth, just like Daddy

Oh boy he he goes trying to be like Daddy!

Birthday and Trunk or Treat!

We had a pretty buys weekend. Dillon turned 4 and we had a couple parties for him and trunk or treat was also this weekend.

Saturday we started by working on Dillon's proton pack so that it would be finished by that night for the trunk or treat as well as getting the chili started to cook. Dillon decided to open his gifts from us about that time and he was so excited to see that he got a remote control truck and a Dinosaur train movie.


Then we ran some errands and also took Dillon out for lunch for his Birthday. We went to Chic-fil-a and also let him play in the play place that they had.

Next it was off to Grandma and Grandpa's house.We enjoyed so me fun times and cake and ice cream. Dillon did so well blowing out his candles. He got some water balls, a couple outfits and a new coat. We of course were in such a hurry that we forgot the camera. Grandpa did take some pics for us though.

Then we were off to the trunk or treat. We got his proton pack completed and the chili finished.


We ended up making it to the church a half hour later then we were to be there. We were still able to get the gym all ready for the party and it was a great night. (we took almost 300 pics I just chose my favs)

Sunday we had Church and had a great time there. Dillon was a bit of a pill, I guess it just was not his day.

Later we went up to Maggie and Papa's house to celebrate more of Dillon's Birthday. WE had Pizza for lunch (Dillon's chose), and of course cake and ice cream. Dillon of course loves playing in the dirt and with Uncle David and Aunt Jess's dogs. Then it was presents time he got a lot of fun things.

He had so much fun for his birthday. I just can't believe that he is 4. He is getting so bug. He loves to learn and "build" works. He is one smart kid and We are so glad to have him in our family!

Hay maze and leaves!

Last weekend we went to the hay maze that they had here in Parker and Dillon loved it. He enjoyed going through the maze and under the little tunnel areas.




Today we went to the Library and decided to take the camera to take some pictures of the leaves. These are my favorites!

Cider Days!

Last Saturday we had the opportunity to go to Cider Days with Mikel's family. IT was so much fun there were booths with samples, spinning wheels with prizes for the kids, stuff to buy and plenty of things for the kids to do. We had so much fun here are some pics from that day.

MY BROTHER IN IN PREU NOW!!

My brother D.J. entered the mission field of Preu a few days ago! It will be so exciting to hear how things are going for him down there!

The Hunger Games

If you haven't read these book you MUST! They are not girly in anyway, they are about a community that is run by the Capitol and they have these hunger games but choosing a male and female from all 12 districts to compete in a battle to the death.

I just finished the last one Mockingjay. It was a great book the only thing is I didn't like how it ended. I won't spoil it for you but, if you would like to talk about it we can email or facebook or what not. I highly recommend these books!
