I have just read the best book that I have read in a long time! It's called Twilight By Stephenie Meyer! I am not a huge fan of vampires, unlike my husband, but I actually liked the book. I though it was pretty neat to have a love story involving a vampire and his family! Several years ago I would never have picked it up but for some reason after hearing other friends review this book I decided to give it a try. It was totally worth it. So for any of you who are unsure about reading a book with vampires, this is unlike any other book you have ever read in your life. It is not very aggressive.
Life here has been quite crazy! Dillon never ceses to amaze me with all that he does! This past weekend I was invited to my SIL's baby shower. From this sister it was a huge deal for her to at least invite me. We didn't excatly get off on the right foot when Mikel and I got married. Then again her and Mikel were not getting a long very well as well, which didn't help. Anyway one of Mikel's other sisters, Rachel, invited me to carpool with her, since Mikel had to work, so I took her up on that. We had so much fun riding up and chatting. Our relationship has come a long way as well. She and I also didn't get along right away as well, but it is better now. Rachel picked me up early so that she could be there to set up for the baby shower. I had fun being with her and with the rest of his family. We were the first ones to arrive for the baby shower so we got started getting things set up, and of course while I was trying to help set up Dillon was wanting my full attention. As soon as the rest of the family arrived then the aunts were there to watch him and keep him company while I finished helping out. Dillon did well though, he kept wanting the crackers, cheese and anything else he could get his hands on! The baby shower went well though. After it was over we got things cleaned up and then Rachel, Emily (another SIL), Dillon and I were off to head home. Emily was coming home with me to watch Dillon until Mikel got home because I had to work that night as well. We were starting to get kinda short on time so Rachel stopped to get some dinner for us, that way I could get something to eat before going to work. When we got home I basically ate and ran so that I could get to work on time.
The next day, Sunday, Emily came with us to Church. Mikel was teaching our class that day so she decided to hang out with him and be with the kids. I was with Dillon in nursery, he dosen't go in quite yet but it is way boring staying out in the hallway so we let him play with the kids, and he loves it! Then after church was over we went home and put Dillon down for a nap. Mikel decided he wanted to play WoW, so Emily and I played Dancing with the Stars on the PS2. Then we woke Dillon up to go up to Lakewood to drop off Emily and see the family again. We got about 10 minutes out, when the car started over heating. so we pulled over and called my FIL, he is a machanic. He came down with Mark (BIL) to see what was going on. Before they arrieved there was a firefighter in his 20's I believe to see if her could come and help, he was worried that it was going to be a car fire, because Mikel opened the cap to the alternater (I believe that is what it is, it is the one that the coolant goes into) and it steamed. When my FIL and BIL came they were unsure what had happened but they got some more coolant and put it in and drained a little out as well. Then it worked. who knew. We heard that here was a roll over on C470, the highway were going to take, so we think that maybe it was a blessing that it over heated when it did, and not later by that crash! We still made it up to Lakeweood we just took a different route. It was quite the weekend though.
Work for me has been crazy there have been rumors going around about cashiers and other people and there are so many people that a gossipers and it is so annoying. People are so inconsiderate! I just don't get it!!
