Last Wednesday was special for us for 2 reasons the first is that it was our 4 year anniversary! We had such a great day. It started early because Mikel had a little work to do so we dropped him off then I was off to find the nearest AT&T store because Mikel's iPhone needed a new sim card and the one we got the day before was acitvated at the store when it wasn't supposed to be, it was supposed to be activated through iTunes. It took me a good 40 min to find the store. I had the address and everything, but couldn't seem to find it. I called the store to only get a automated message saying that it was located on the east side of the Colorado Mills mall, at least that is what I heard, and across from the chili's. I did remember seeing the chili's and it was in the mall so as soon as I found it I parked and walked into the mall. I looked at the map as I walked in with Dillon and saw that it was in the mall. Wow 40 min of driving only to discover I was closer than I realized. We walk to the store and discover that it is not open yet. It was 9:50am and their automated message said they opened at 9am I was confused. We hung out and waited the extra 10 min, (after today 10 min was nothing compared to the 40 just trying to find the place). When they finally opened I got the unactivated sim card and then headed over to my in-laws.
Mikel's grandparents came in from Utah and we haven't seen them for 4 years! We were so excited to be able to spend sometime with them. Dillon warmed up pretty well with Grandpa who offered him some toast! That child was won over by food. We waited some time to see if Mikel was coming yet then we ended up going anyway. They needed to go to Joanns and get some fabric for a quilt. While in the line to pay for the fabric Grandma found a book that makes siren sounds for Dillon and of course he loves it. All the way to pick up Kimmy, (Mikel's youngest sister) he played the siren. It was starting to drive the grandparents crazy! When we picked up Kimmy, Dillon got to see some construction trucks, He thought they were pretty cool. When we made it back to the house Mikel was there waiting for us, we discovered that if we waited a little bit longer he would have been there. Mikel worked on getting his phone up and, had to go and grab some things for lunch, and Dillon got to go play out in the dirt. Mikel discovered a little later that when he set up his phone it gave him a new number. He ad to go back and get another sim card. We had lunch and spent some more time with the grandparents and Rachel, (Mikel's sis) came by as well. We had fun and Dillon really enjoyed being with them. Then the grandparents had to go rest for a little bit, so they would be ready for the evening. Dillon watched "Scooby-Doo goes Hollywood". We were trying to get him to take a nap, but it didn't work too well. We got changed and headed out to.....
The Temple to be SEALED! We, well more I, decided I wanted pics out side of the temple, since we didn't get married there and I wanted to have something to remember that day. I got into my wedding dress, (yes I know your jealous) and we took a few couple pics then some family pic and some with extended family. We were so excited to be there and spend that time with family and friends! Dillon even did well. he enjoyed playing then fell asleep after they dressed him in white, so he was asleep during his part. It was quite cute! He woke up when people started hugging Mikel. If you haven't figured it out this was the second reason this day was so special for us! As soon as I get the pics I will post them!
After the sealing we went with a few friends to Claim Jumper. I hadn't been there before and it was so good. It was crazy how big the portions were, I was amazed, I would totally go there again!
