The Weekend and all the craziness involved

So the weekend all started on Friday, Miranda and I, planned to go to the temple to spend some time together before she gets married the next day. She wasn't feeling well that morning, so we didn't go in the morning, because she had some things that needed to get done. Some of those plans ended up getting canceled. Except picking up the rental car. We got a ride with Kris, the financee, and Kris's uncle and dad to the rental place. They took care of getting the rental done, then Kris left while we waited for the car to get washed and detailed. The rental place had the appointment down for 1pm and we were there at noon, so the car wasn't quite ready. By the time it was done. There was no gas in the car, so she opted to have them put some gas in the car. We then tried to get to the temple after that and on the freeway we got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. While we were waiting there we saw a Suberban that was on the onramp to the freeway and decided that he didn't want to get on so they backed up all the way to the the street to turn around, we laughed quite hard. While we were waiting we talked about her financee how they met and stuff. We found out what was holding traffic up. It was a rollover accident. We had had police cars, an ambulance, and a tow truck before we got to the accident. We really enjoyed the time we spent together. When we finally got off the freeway we went to Olive Garden for the soup, salad and breadstick lunch. It was really good to have something to eat and enjoy being with Miranda. Then we went back to her house so I could pick Dillon up. I ended up staying there for a little bit to help out. Then ran home to change before going to the church to set up for the reception. I helped with getting an arch and decorating the arch, I thought it looked really good. Then after we were finished setting up, all the girls got together for a mormon bacherloette party. We made homade pizzas for dinner. Then hung out until someone got the bright idea to do shots. We had put soda with whipped cream on them and drank them just using their mouths. That was quite the experience. It definatly wasn't my specitaly. Miranda got a call from her financee that she didn't pick up but a frind did telling here that something was wrong with the rental, we were all confused because we had no idea what they were talking about. When Miranda finally got the phone we all ran outside to see what they did. They decided to put blown up condoms on the atennae and door handle of the rental. They thought they were pretty funny, I thought it was pretty immature of them. When Kris called again I picked it up and he totally thought it was Miranda keep in mind Miranda and I look alot alike in body shape. I found that quite funny. We ended up leaving around 1 am, so that we could all get some sleep before the big day!

Saturday we get up and get ready and drop off Dillon at my families house so we could go to the sealing. We arrived at the temple at a good time and got in and waited. In the waiting room I found it intresting that on one side there was Kris's family and on the other side there was Miranda's family. The sealing was over all alright. It was neat to finally be able to attend a live sealing, that was pretty neat. I then has worked it out with the photographer that I would come out when they were ready. I ended up helping her get into her dress with the Maitron of honor and her mother. It was quite a dress to get her into but not too difficult. Then we all got out and took pictures. Since her mother left her reccomend in the temple I stayed around to help her get out of her dress. After we were done there Mikel and I walked around Parker days, the festival here in town they have every year, with some friends. It was a nice sunny day! We enjoyed geting out and doing that with our friends. I also got to test drive a Toyota Highlander hybrid, it was so nice, we were on a time crunch with the the reception. I needed to be at the church in enough time to help her get her dress on again. We made it in time for that. They got some pictures taken before the reception started then just hung and mingled for the reception. Kris's brothers decided to decorate their rental car. They had decided to put sticky notes all over with stuff written on them, it was quite a neat idea and it didn't hurt the rental! We left before they opened presents because Dillon was getting cranky, granted he had been cranky all day because he didn't have a nap or at leat much of one. We ended up so tired that we crashed on the couch.

Sunday we got up to get ready for church. It was a good day there. The RS gave all the dad's pie and they loved it! I think it was a great idea. Then in the afternoon we went to the in-laws house for lunch. We had Mom's famous enchaladas. I call them famous because I love them and I would eat them alot if we could recreate them ourselves. We hung out for awhile and Dillon got to play with the bunny. Then we left and spent the rest of our time at home. We even had one of our friends come over to talk for a bit. It was a pretty good chat we had a lot to talk about, then by the time we were done we were so ready for bed. Well that is the end of my crazy weekend!
