Atlanta Trip Day 2

Friday was another early morning. We had to get up at 5:30am (3:30 am MST), to get breakfast before loading the buses to head to Columbus for the tours of Aflac Headquarters. This was one time we were not all that excited to go, but we went anyway. The ride was the worst part of it all, 2 hours long! The first campus we went to was where all the claims, call center and stuff like that were. They even had mail robots, but they were not around while we were there it was a little disapointing.

If you have ever been to the east coast it is much different that our west cost or at least Colorado, we saw trees everywhere!

Up in the Aflac tower we got to see the founder of Aflac, we were able to meet him up on the 19th floor we also got to be in the confrence room, it was really cool.

We ate lunch right by that river. After lunch there were some Aflac booths set up, where you can ask questions and things about the workings of Aflac. Plus you can pick up some pretty cool stuff. Then we made our trip back to Atlanta where we had dinner inspired by Nascar. It was a BBQ buffet basically. After dinner we decided to go swimming in the pool, with our friends from Colorado. It was quite fun at first then it got cold or at least I got cold. After we got out we decided to walk around Atlanta to get some dessert. We were on our way to a place that was reccomended to us from the concerige, then we ran into a Hard Rock Cafe. Mikel and I have never been to one before so we decided to go and see what it was all about and eat. We decided to get an appitizer and drinks to start with. I ended up getting a wildberry smoothee that was a pink ribbon sponsered drink. As we were waiting on our drinks and food we wandered around to see everything on the walls, it was amazing the stuff you see there, and also wandered into the retail store. Then our watress let us know that our food was there is didn't want it to get cold, so we ate. Then we ordered dessert, and looked around the store again and decided to get some shirts and a bear for Dillon. The watress once again came by to let us know that our dessert was ready. After we finished dessert we were ready to head to bed, so we did.
