Happy Birthday Dillon!!
I can't believe that my son has turned 2 today! It is hard to believe that it has been 2 years. It seems like only yesterday we were in the hospital waiting for our little one to be born. He has been doing so much. He mimics everything we do especially what his daddy does. He talks quite a bit and we understand him most of the time. He loves to go outside and down the slide. He wants to do things for himself, and wants to be more independent every day. He adores our cat and he is learning to be nicer to him and pet him nicely. He loves to eat and will eat just about anything. He especially loves fruit. This past year we have moved him from his crib to a toddler bed and he has done very well with it. He had also got his first set of molars in as well, that was quite the experience. I am amazed every day with how much he knows. He loves to say prayers and knows when we do say them, he also tries to mimic us with that as well. We have even caught him saying his own prayers. We have no idea what he is saying but he says "amen" and he is done. It is so cute to watch. He also likes to sing with us in Church. When we pull the Hymnal out to sing he wants one as well so he can sing with us. He is one incredible child and is one of the more advanced children I know, maybe that is my own biased but I sure think so. He loves his bears. He has so many stuffed animals and he really takes care of them like they are babies, go figure. He is not around babies much at all and he is picking it up. I believe he will make a great big brother. I can't wait to see what he will be like when baby 2 does come (no not pregnant yet). There is probably so much more that he is doing and what not that is not coming to me now. Happy Birthday Dillon!!
